Love Kids
To whom it may concern: The West Valley Child Crisis
Center, Inc. (WVCCC) is a small organization caring
for abused and neglected children 24 hours a day,
365 days a year. Right now, we house 40 children
in a West Valley location. The children come to
us with only the clothing on their back, loneliness
in their eyes and fear in their little hearts. WVCCC
provides clothing, food, temporary shelter and caring
adult supervision to these children -giving them
hope for a brighter future. Because the state only
pays for about 50% of their care, we depend heavily
upon the support of a caring community and individuals
like Maureen Karpinski. Maureen is a rare individual
because she understands that giving back to her
community is part of the rent she pays for living
on this planet. Maureen knows how to rally others
towards generosity as well. Over the past number
of years, Maureen has single-handedly orchestrated
a clothing committee and supplies the clothes, a
shoe drive, and the purchasing of craft supplies.
Our children are not only loved but also physically
provided for because of Ms. Karpinski's efforts.
Thank you Maureen for helping us to provide better
care for a large group of very innocent victims!
